God's Will for my Life?
By Anonymous - Date: 2010-01-29 17:09:29

I have put together a list of seven practical questions for you to ask as you seek to determine God's will for your life.

1. Is it consistent with biblical teaching?
2. Have I prayed and asked God to reveal His will to me?
3. What do mature Christian friends think?
4. How have the doors opened and closed?
5. Does the decision make good sense?
6. Do I have peace about the decision?
7. How does it affect my church?
Sometimes we do not completely understand what our Father has planned for us, and it is as if God is saying, Just trust Me on this. Hang in there for two more weeks, or months, or years, and it will be clear to you.
Maybe it is time for you to crucify your ego and your own selfish pursuits and simply say, When it comes to my future, it's not up to me, it's up to Him.'
Trusting in the LORD with all our hearts will make our paths straight, not learning on our own understanding
(Proverbs 3:5-6).
